I did get my money back eventually, but it took several trips to ask for the manager, who never came out. In the end, the clerk agreed to refund me. The room looked run down as soon as we saw it, and it was horrible. When we called the front desk, they said all the rooms were like that and they knew maintenance was needed. It needed a lot more than a little work. We had to leave in the middle of the night because of bed bugs. They told us we get what we pay for. If they hadn't refunded us, we would have stayed there warning anyone who came in not to book.

We found a large crack running across multiple panes of the room window, and the bathtub had what looked like burn marks from smoking, even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking. On our first night, the clerk said we were all set. I asked if that included the pet fee, and he just repeated that we were all set, so I went to the room thinking it was handled. The pool is meant to close at 10, but neighborhood kids stayed in it past midnight. I asked about it twice and was told someone would tell them to leave. When we came back Friday, our key had been deactivated because they found our dog in the room. At the office they wouldn't explain why I'd been told the night before that everything was set. They made me pay a $100 cleaning fee before letting me back in because I hadn't told them about the dog. It's a Super 8, but there was nothing super about it. I used my Wyndham gift cards here and should've picked somewhere else. I'll NEVER stay again.

Roaches were coming out of the bathtub drain and handle around 3 a.m. The room was filthy and old, and the place is way overpriced. The TV only had sound on a few channels, the toilet barely flushed, and a blanket in the non-smoking room had a burn mark. The furniture looked like it might have been there since the hotel first opened. If I'd known about the roaches, I never would've stayed. Disgusting place. I'd give it negative stars if I could. Don't waste your money.

The first room had a horrible mold smell, like it hadn't been used in decades. The heater didn't work either, just blowing cold air. They moved me to another room, but that shower had no hot water. I brought my own sheets because I don't expect much from Super8, but I still got eaten alive by bed bugs. Now I'm covered in itchy bites. Easily the worst hotel stay I've had.
