The small town is sweet, and the hotel is in a good spot. The rooms looked beautiful, fresh, and very clean, but that impression didn't hold up. It was incredibly loud because the family who owns the place lives there too, and the noise was the worst I've ever heard at a hotel. My husband and I were exhausted from driving home after vacation and barely slept. When we finally did, we woke up with bites. I had marks all over my right side, where I sleep, and my husband had them across his back and legs. My only guess is bed bugs. In 36 years, I've never had an experience like that. It looked amazing, but it was all a lie.

We liked the room enough to turn our one-night stay into two. It was clean and nice, the shower and tub were super clean, and the bed was comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

The internet was better than I've had at some pricey hotels, and the king bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean too. The room itself was okay for cleanliness, though it could've used a better vacuuming, and maybe removing the carpet would help. The place could use a remodel.

We rested really well, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. At first, they felt a little pushy about the 11 a.m. checkout, especially since we got there at 3 in the morning and they didn't offer any extra time. After we talked it through, I understood them and they understood me. It ended up being a nice visit.

The room was well kept and seemed clean, though I found a little liquor bottle between the fridge and microwave and chapstick near the bed. The owner is very hands-on and thorough at check-in. If you're planning trouble or lots of coming and going to your room, this probably isn't the place for you. There's not much at this exit besides a couple gas stations, so food means driving a few miles. Breakfast isn't offered, just coffee. I had a pretty nice stay.
