We stayed in building 1, unit 18, in August, and ours had been modernized with sophisticated decor and a surprisingly well-equipped kitchen. There were four of us, me, my husband, and my in-laws, and we felt very comfortable. The walk from the door to the beach was maybe five minutes. We watched for rabbits and gopher tortoises by the dunes every day. The umbrella and chair service made a beach day easy, and we'd recommend it. Groceries, shops, and places to eat are nearby, and the Ritz has several restaurants with GF options, plus shops. One thing to know: a first- or second-floor unit may not have a beach view. The balconies get a nice breeze, though the humidity can still make being outside tough for someone heat-sensitive like me.

We came for a girls' trip the first weekend of May and would happily stay here again. The views were beautiful, and the condo was clean, nicely furnished, and had good bedding and linens. Our particular rental had an outdated kitchen that wasn't stocked for everything we needed, but we managed. The porch furniture was fine, with four seats at the high-top and two Adirondack chairs with ottomans. The different seat heights were a bit awkward.

We stayed in Unit 67 over Thanksgiving with my husband, my mom, my brother, and my nephew, and we're already looking forward to a full week there in May. The balcony on the top floor has wide-open views, the beds are comfortable, even the sofa bed, and the bathrooms are top-notch with lots of storage. The kitchen was fully equipped, which came in handy when we cooked two nights. Marci Crawford handled the rental and was so friendly and helpful. We've stayed at plenty of nice beachfront resorts over the years, and this one is the best by far. I highly recommend this beautiful condo.

The condo itself was very nice, with a great ocean view and easy beach access. The grounds were generally well kept, and the area is beautiful with lots to see. The problem was on the first floor, where there were cockroaches everywhere. Maintenance must have sprayed something that brought them out. They died within a day or so, but nobody cleaned them up for several days, which wasn't appealing for guests or residents. Still, don't let that put you off visiting.
