The location was handy, close to food, stores, and gas stations, with easy access to the interstate. The woman who checked us in that morning was welcoming. The rest of the stay was disappointing, especially for a Holiday Inn. My travel partner, who’s a member, was offered late checkout, but housekeeping still knocked, so communication needs work. In the morning, the housekeepers were so loud in the halls that I couldn’t rest. The walls are very thin too, and I heard conversations and noise from rooms beside and above me all night over the weekend. There were no TV instructions, and calling the front desk from the room only got me a busy signal. My towels were a little stained, and breakfast was bland. I didn’t feel comfortable or satisfied and wouldn’t come back. Two days there wasn’t fun, and most areas need improvement. The replies to reviews here also seem repetitive and impersonal, like the same message is copied and pasted.

I stayed at the Holiday Express over the New Year holiday while working at the local hospital. They had warm cookies in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, which really touched me. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and modern, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Breakfast had lots of choices and was excellent too. The Mav Grill is walkable, and other places to eat and shop are a short drive away. Great stay overall, and I’d recommend it for work or a pleasure trip.

✅ Clean ✅ Safe ✅ Quiet I’m on the road for work a lot, and I keep choosing the holiday inn for good reason. The room was spotless, and the setup made sense for working: a real closet, tall ironing board, wide desk, hot iron, working coffee machine, and outlets where you need them. The towels were my one complaint. They’re noticeably smaller and less fluffy than before, which is a shame since towels are one of my favorite parts of an IHG stay. Shoutout to Pat at the front desk, who gave me five-star service every time I visited. She’s fantastic at her job!

I was waiting 34 hours for a JBS load, so I decided to treat myself and get out of the Minnesota weather. The room was pleasant, and Patrice, the hostess/cashier, was a really pleasant person. There were places to eat and Wally Mart within walking distance. I didn’t mind walking since we spend hours sitting in a Semi, and it helps keep my heart strong. I haven’t tried the breakfast buffet yet, but I’ll give it a go in the morning. Safe travels, everyone. Stay grateful and focused on Jesus 💪🏿💯

The hotel was clean and seemed well kept. Breakfast had a good range of items, and the coffee tasted good. The machine was easy to use too. Accommodations were standard. The pool area is a little small, and there’s no hot tub.
