Doubletree Hotel Memphis Downtown

We chose the hotel because it was across the street from Autozone Stadium, where we planned to go. The room worked perfectly for my father-in-law’s gear and shower needs. He’s quadriplegic, and accessible rooms we’ve used at other hotels weren’t as accommodating. Linesia at the front desk was wonderful, sweet, and friendly, and helped us with everything we needed. We definitely recommend the hotel.

The standout part of our weekend was Linesia at the front desk. She had the brightest smile and was really helpful. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, and we loved everything about our stay. The hotel restaurant was good, too. Shavon, our server, was warm and attentive, and made sure we had what we needed without being asked. Her positive attitude made the meal special. We’ll be back.

Breakfast was a real highlight, way better than the usual complimentary continental spread. The kitchen ladies were fantastic, and their service started my day off well. The staff overall were patient and accommodating, even with so many St. Jude nurses staying there. Jeremy gave me such a warm welcome, and Tiffany was kind and attentive, too. I felt at home. I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn on 1/24. As a night-shift CVICU nurse, I needed a quiet, comfortable place for the weekend after the hospital only offered beds in an older, run-down unit. Choosing this hotel was one of my best decisions. I felt appreciated from the moment I walked in. As a Silver Hilton member, I’m grateful for the care I received. I got the rest and comfort I needed, and I’ll be back.

We showed up exhausted and frustrated after another hotel failed to have our room ready, even though we’d booked it for two weeks. Linesia listened, stepped in, and got us taken care of quickly. She was friendly, patient, professional, and clearly cared about helping us. Her positive attitude changed the whole day. We went from a stressful mess to feeling welcomed and relieved, thanks to her. This hotel is lucky to have her. I hope management recognizes the great service she gave us. She made a lasting impression, and we’re very grateful.
