Dolphin Cove

The rooms were the best part: spacious, clean, and really comfortable. The big shared movie and game room has loads of potential, and we liked the pool table, but that was the only game available. It gets lovely sunlight when the doors are open, and you can look down at the pool from the balcony. Still, the interior feels dated and dark, and the theater TV seems too small and old for such a large room. The gym is tiny. With two people working out, it feels suffocating, and if you sweat a lot the whole room smells right away. The TVs around the property are outdated too, and the small check-in lobby gets cramped. Updating the shared spaces would make the stay much better.

The exterior and grounds look really good, and the new stairways were much needed. I appreciated the recent updates inside too, with new A/C, furnishings, and fixtures, and the rooms are nicely decorated. The shower drain was still slow, though. We'll be back again and again.

Really good room and super friendly staff. The location is convenient for Disneyland, Seal Beach, and some great shopping. We liked the pool and hot tubs, and I'd definitely stay here again.

We found the staff lovely and accommodating, and the gated property felt safe. There's lots for kids to do, and it's a great base for Disneyland. We took the free Disney shuttle from the Toy Story lot. The downside was the Worldmark timeshare pitch. We didn't know they'd pressure us to attend a meeting within seconds of check-in. Michelle was professional, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. It was the last thing we wanted, and it took a five-star stay down a notch.
