Rainbow Inn - Near Adventure City

There were just two towels and no washcloths or hand towels. The room was nice, but not very clean, and I don't think they have good cleaners. They also didn't tell me about the $40 deposit or that checkout was by 11. The woman at the front desk was pretty rude when I checked in and treated me like a criminal or something. With the cleanliness issue, I should've asked for my money back.

The room itself was spacious, with great beds, but the rest of the stay was rough. People smoked outside all day and night in front of the kids. Kids jumped on the hood of my parked car and dented it, and their parents did nothing. My fiancé reported it to the office, but nothing happened. The next day, a little kid gave him the finger. As we were leaving, those same kids were playing with a child barely a year old. He fell, and the older kids kicked him while the adults did nothing. Guests could barely use the pool because the people below us took it over all day and night, leaving clothes, cans, and trash behind. Parking was limited because women sat in white chairs in the lot smoking.

The room conditions shocked me. Our double queen room looked like it hadn't been cleaned, with stains and spots on the blanket, floor, and walls. There was graffiti above the front door, and a roach crawled across the wall. The shower handle was loose and nearly falling off. The pool and spa looked unsanitary too. I wouldn't recommend staying here. If I could give no stars, I would.

This is a family-owned hotel where families live, too. They may rent out six rooms, maybe, while the rest of the place is occupied by residents. Don't stay here, even as a last resort. It's filthy, and the whole setup felt unsafe and scary. The kids took over the tiny pool, ran through the stairwell and along the second-floor balcony late into the night, while the adults gathered nearby. In the morning, I watched the few other guests struggle to get their cars out because so many cars were double and triple parked in the lot. I don't know how what they do is legal.
