Anderson Inn

The attendant was friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, near Red lobster, Wendy’s, a grocery store, and a strip mall. The blankets looked dirty to me. There were only two usable outlets in the room and bathroom, besides the air conditioner’s outlet, so I had to unplug the TV to use the microwave. The AC got nice and cold. For the price, it works.

The best part was the older man working the morning of 5/25/2025. He had a leather jacket, was exceptionally friendly, and gave me great advice when he realized I was in town for the Indy 500. I wish I’d asked his name. He’s why this is a four-star review instead of two or three. He rocks. The room was good value for what I paid, but the refrigerator was unplugged and didn’t work. Its spot was too far from any outlet for the cord to reach, and even after I moved it, it still wouldn’t work. There wasn’t an outlet by the bed either. The only free plug was below the TV.

People were arguing, cussing, and stomping on the stairs and above us all night. The exterior windows weren’t good either, and the water pressure was basically nonexistent. The room smelled like mold, which I later realized was coming from the curtains. We booked at the last minute because we were tired and couldn’t get into Holiday inn. The call center seemed focused on making the sale. We paid $148 for a full bed that was supposed to be a queen. I’m completely disappointed and would never recommend this place. It should be condemned.

Mr meet has made this a great place to live. He’s always willing to fix or sort out problems that come to his attention, and he really seems to care about helping everyone. The owners and management have treated me with respect since I’ve been at the Anderson inn motel. It’s clean and comfortable, and I can’t ask for a better motel in anderson. Keep up the good work, Mr meet. Have a blessed day, and thank you.
