Home2 Suites by Hilton Anderson Downtown

I’d stay at Home2Suites again if I’m back in town. There’s free parking in the garage, and the staff were friendly. The room was roomy, clean, modern, and had good lighting, though I’d have liked dimmer bedside lamps. USB ports were all over, the TV was a nice size and had Netflix, and the shower got hot with good pressure. Breakfast had lots of options. We did have a small bug issue in the bathroom, and its door wouldn’t latch.

Our family of four spent four nights here. The rooms were clean, the gym was nice, and the blackout curtains worked really well. Breakfast was fun too, with DIY sandwiches that changed each day and a suggested sandwich of the day. A couple pillows were lumpy, so I wish I’d brought my own. The couch was stiff, though I get that it’s also a sleeper sofa. I’d also feel safer if you needed a room key to use the elevators, since you can get to them without going past the lobby.

It’s pet friendly, and the location works great for walking around DT Anderson. Our room was spacious, everything was clean, and the staff were really nice. I’d recommend it.

Jamie made sure the little things that came up during our stay were taken care of and went out of her way to make things right. She was amazing. I’d stay here again.
