Villa West Inn

The room was clean and nice, with a really comfortable bed, though the pillows were too hard and flat for me. The shower pressure was fantastic. There's a microwave and fridge, but no coffee maker in the room. I'll definitely stay again.

It was dark and quiet at night and during naptime, which I appreciated. The room was clean and decorated with a lot of taste. I liked the dark bed blankets against the chair's light upholstery, and the work table had a soft central work area. There were hangers, an ironing board and an iron. I liked this place and highly recommend it.

A leak from the ceiling flooded the entire 109 room with hot water. They moved us to another room right away, but all of our luggage was damp and moist. When I asked for the WiFi code, they asked how many people were staying instead of checking whether our things were okay. No refund and no good service. My parents and I had come from Houston to visit my nieces and nephews, who are toddlers. We were respectful, cleaned up after ourselves and spent time out visiting family, not causing trouble at the hotel all day. The rule says no guests, but our nieces and nephews and their parents were only visiting and leaving at night. The receptionist rudely kept questioning my nieces' parents about who they were, what they were doing and where they were going. They had no reason to be so nosy and rude. Screw this establishment!

We stayed here 4 or 5 months ago, and I'm glad we found them again. I just had triple bypass and had left the hospital. The cleaning staff are extremely nice, and I have no worries about bed bugs. Nobody has bothered my husband's truck or tools. Rooms are large and a great value, though the decor is a little outdated. It's a quiet, safe and convenient place to stay, with great I-20 access, and they're in the process of updating it now. I'm not sure why it's only listed as one star. During my hospital stay, management even called a friend at a nearby motel so our family could stay close by when this place was full. Thank you all for being so kind and helpful to us.
