Candlelight Motel

Ken is really nice and gives great customer service. I come here every year for our family trip, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The bed’s very comfortable, and the bathroom isn’t small unless you want to play baseball in it 🙂. There are lots of things to do nearby.

The woman running the place was so friendly and genuinely seemed interested in helping me and my friend. We’d paid for one double bed, but she upgraded us to a two-bed room for free. It was huge and really nice for what we paid. Don’t expect a red carpet, but everything was clean and worked. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

The price was nice, and the beds were good. The bathroom was clean but a little small, and I was surprised that the pullout couch was comfortable too. It’s better than an average motel, though it’s a bit dated and obviously not the Marriot. Not bad!

It was a quiet night at this large property, close to all that southern Vermont has to offer. The staff, who are the owners, were friendly. Our room was a bit dated but spacious. The affordable price, pool, and location earned it a higher rating, though WiFi is limited.
