The man at the desk didn't argue when we requested a refund, so that's why I gave service two stars. We arrived late to a dark parking lot, and the property looked nothing like the pictures. The odd layout made finding our room feel sketchy. When we turned on the light, roaches were in the room. The cabinet had dirty dishes, and my husband had to kill roaches with the room key. We went straight back to ask for a refund. He offered another room and said ours must not have been cleaned, which left me wondering why a customer was put in an uncleaned room. If that room had roaches that badly, I figured they all did, or maybe the roaches just weren't comfortable yet. He assured us we'd get a refund and sent receipts and so forth. We've always stayed at Motel 6 in our hometown, but this one was no good. After driving three hours from work, having to change hotels at 10 pm was stressful.

The deposit return was so disorganized it made no sense. When I asked staff for sheets for the pull-out couch, they never brought them, and the beds were really hard. Of all the Motel 6 places I've stayed, this one was by far not worth it.

There were four of us planning to stay. One person asked the front desk receptionist whether there were bugs, and she said no. We searched the room high and low, but roaches were plainly in sight as soon as we walked in. We got our refund because we'd said we wanted one if we found bugs. Whatever you do, don't go here.

The room itself was clean, with no signs of pests. The location wasn't good, and during my three-day stay they only provided room service twice a week, so I never got fresh towels or clean sheets. Other than that, everything was cool.

We found bed bugs in the room in the middle of the night. They did switch us to another room, which was nice, but the hotel overall wasn't clean and nobody offered us a refund. It was a negative experience.
