Hampton Inn Asheville I-26 Biltmore Area

My sister, two grandchildren, and I stayed for two nights recently. The staff were so happy in their jobs, and everyone we met was pleasant and helpful. Our room attendant on the fourth floor, Autumn, was especially exceptional and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Asheville area. Thanks for such a pleasant, enjoyable stay.

The location worked perfectly for us, and all our Uber rides to the breweries were right around $10. Our room was clean and great, and breakfast in the morning was really good. The staff were amazing, friendly, and more helpful than we could have asked for. We’ll 100% stay here again!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, plus a nice outdoor fire pit. The pool didn’t seem heated, and the A/C was loud. I’m glad we didn’t end up in a room by the pool. I heard people in the lobby saying they could smell chlorine and had no privacy.

The staff were excellent, and the large free breakfast was great. The pool, hot tub, and spacious outdoor gas fireplace area are well planned and have been tastefully updated recently. The problem is that the pool, hot tub, and fire area all close automatically at 10 pm. The doors just lock, and key cards are useless. 10 pm is way too early. A sign saying there’s no re-entry after 10pm at the outdoor firepit would help keep guests from getting locked inside the fenced area with no way out. Without a cell phone, you’re stuck until someone comes around to check. Even after the door locks at 10 p.m., the fire keeps burning for another 30 minutes with nobody able to use the area. It’s such a waste. Leave it open longer so everyone can enjoy it.
