Moxy Asheville Downtown

After spending the day exploring downtown, we enjoyed unwinding at the rooftop bar and pool. Moxy Asheville has a lively lobby, social areas, and a fun modern feel, with especially friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. The rooms are fresh, clean, and comfortable. They're on the small side, but the space is used well. The central location is hard to beat, with shops, restaurants, music spots, and nightlife all an easy walk away. A memorable stay with a great atmosphere and service, especially for couples, friends, or anyone who wants to be in the heart of Asheville.

The people at the front desk were so welcoming, and the shared spaces were lovely, clean, and cozy. I came as a local looking for somewhere to stay during the ice storm in case the power went out. My first room was a little noisy, but they quickly moved me somewhere quieter without any fuss. Katie was awesome!

The room was far too cramped for our family, even though it was listed for four. With two queen beds facing each other, no closet, no nightstand or side tables, and just one folding luggage stand, we ended up putting our things on the floor. We wouldn't have booked if we'd known how tight it was. But the staff immediately moved us, no hassle, even though we'd booked through a third party. Everyone at Moxy and later Aloft was great, from management to the people we met during our five nights. We booked five days at Moxy for the second part of our year-end family vacation. The location is hard to beat, and the modern, beautifully designed common areas add a lot to the atmosphere. We'd gladly book again and recommend it to friends and family visiting.

McKay or Cam at the front desk made the stay feel like the best hotel experience I've had. They bring southern hospitality with a big splash of color. The place is a psychedelic-modern mansion right downtown, next to some of the best live music and food this country has to offer. Thanks, you two!
