Oakland Cottage Bed & Breakfast

The Rose Room #8 was thoughtfully arranged, so even though I worried about the space, the two of us didn't feel cramped. It had a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of room for our luggage. The first-floor common area and the rest of the cottage were beautifully decorated. Breakfast each morning was filling, nourishing, and gave us a good start to the day. It's under 15 minutes from Asheville's main attractions, which was convenient. You can tell management put care into the experience, and we can't wait to return.

Breakfast every morning was great, and we all loved the midday treats, including our pups. The place is cute and cozy, in a great area, and everyone made us feel welcome. My husband, our dogs, and I felt right at home and would happily stay again. Highly recommend!

The bed was super comfy, and I loved the jetted tub. Our room looked just like the pictures. Breakfast was delicious, with an asparagus and egg dish, banana crumb cake, sausage, fruit and granola, plus tea and coffee. Downtown Asheville is less than ten minutes away by car. We'd stay again if we're in the area, and I'd recommend it to others.

The food was wonderful, from the breakfasts to the afternoon treats, which beat what we've had at many places in Europe. The staff were professional and very accommodating, and there's also a washer and dryer available. We stayed in room #3, with a king bed, an alcove with a daybed and mini kitchen, and our own outside door. There was plenty of parking, and the property sits in a quiet neighborhood close to sights. We've stayed at lots of B&Bs, and this was the best we've experienced. A fantastic find, highly recommended.
