I rarely leave a bad review, but this stay was exceptionally poor. I had to give one star because there was no zero-star option. I’ll never come back or recommend this place. The room was filthy. There was disgusting leftover food and sticky gunk on the fridge shelves, a dirty microwave, a dirty toilet, hair on the shower walls, and mold on the ceiling. The WiFi was decent. The cable TV had fewer than 40 channels and wasn’t a SmartTV, so there were no streaming apps. When I turned on the jacuzzi, black flakes floated in the water, and running the jets made even more appear. I tried cleaning and draining the tub, but it was too gross to use. The pool room was huge, but the water slides had been removed, the Tiki Bar was gone, the grill was closed, and there was no lifeguard. Bandages and candy wrappers floated in the pool and hot tub. On the day we arrived, more than 150 people were there. It was so loud we couldn’t hear the person beside us, and so packed we kept getting bumped or splashed in the face. My younger kids actually cried because there wasn’t room to play and got no pool time. That was a huge disappointment for my family, since I paid more for this room than other local hotels so the kids could enjoy the nonexistent water park. The trash bins were overflowing and there were no chairs available. I was told the rented rooms were more numerous than usual because of two hockey tournaments, and I could plainly see three birthday parties happening at the same time. There was also trash on the hallway floor by the lobby when we arrived and still there when we left. I tried the lobby coffee three times. It was empty twice and cold once. The station was filthy and trashed, with no creamer, sweeteners, stirrers, or lids, and it was visible from the desk. The garbage there was overflowing too. There were no feminine hygiene products on site, which was a problem for my 13-year-old daughter who wanted to swim. At breakfast, the milk and yogurt were sour and actually expired. The breakfast lounge was filthy, with wrappers, cutlery, and waffle mix everywhere, and most options were empty. None of the vending machines accepted tap to pay, only cash, and the reader explicitly said cash only. We paid over $200 for one weekend night, not a holiday. My request for a late checkout was denied. They offered no refund or discount, even after these serious complaints. I left feeling like I needed a course of antibiotics in case I’d encountered diseases or bodily fluids, and that gulp of sour milk was nauseating. We left immediately. 0/10 recommendation. Do. Not. Book. Here.

Thanks for a nice stay. Our room was clean and presentable, the tub worked great, and we had no issues. We were in the "presidential suite," which looked out over snowmobiles and the parking lot. I’d have preferred a lake view. Breakfast was busy but good, with a decent selection of the usual staples, nothing fancy.

We stopped here for a snowmobile trip and found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, there was plenty of trailer parking, and the hot tub felt great after a long day. The hotel was very pet friendly!
