The Ashland Motel is in a central spot in Ashland, and for a reasonable price it was clean and well kept. It's run by a local family who really look after guests. I stayed five nights, then car trouble meant I needed two more. While I went to two different mechanics to sort it out, they let me check out after the usual time. That was so kind. The service felt personal, and my room was clean. I'd definitely recommend it.

The owner and manager were friendly and helpful, and there's a great breakfast place right next door. We walked across from the college to downtown, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. It's an understated little motel. I'll stay again on my next trip.

The price was great, and my room was nice and freshly remodeled. I needed a bandage and the front desk helped me out.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and it stayed quiet. Parking was easy too. There's no good place to sit and relax in the room, and the shower has no light. The building's had a recent renovation, but the exterior still looks pretty run down. A mixed experience.

For a motel right off the road, it was better than I expected. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the AC handled the 95 degree weather well. I felt safe there. The location worked, though some entrances were closed for some reason, so if you missed the turn or came from one direction, you had to circle the block.
