The fire response was alarming: nobody seemed to follow a plan, and management kept operating without a backup generator. Guests were charged for stays when the place wasn't working, and refunds were refused. They just got in a car and left. Mo, who runs the property, lets so much disgraceful behavior happen that I could hardly believe it. There was also noise from drug dependants. For a better-smelling room, Medford might be a better choice, and I'd pay extra for Comfort Inn. The RV area by the back entrance, with children running around, should be removed and probably investigated. Ashland deserves better.

Moe and Nancy, a nice couple originally from Fiji, run this quirky, clean, inexpensive place, and it's where I always stay in Ashland. We paid $91 a night for two double beds for three people, all charges included. I'm sitting in the room now enjoying the good air conditioning, with a microwave and refrigerator handy. Breakfast is continental, served in a big sunny dining room that looks like it used to be a restaurant. Moe also seems to run a long-term trailer park in the extra parts of the large parking lot. Break the chain habit!

A quiet little hotel with monthly stays and RV spots. I'd rate it five stars if a few tenants didn't leave so much trash around their RVs and cause trouble for the landlord. A handful of people can spoil it for everybody.

The owners and the rest of the staff were so friendly that we felt like family. That's what really makes this place stand out. The rooms were clean, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and it had all the usual amenities. And no, they didn't pay me to write this! ;)

The staff were really kind, and the beds were comfortable. I loved the rooms and the beautiful setting. It felt peaceful and warm, a great place to stay.
