The Manor Motel

I was a little unsure about booking such a low-cost place, but once I saw the room I was happy with the choice. It’s an older hotel, though the room felt cared for rather than run down. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having the car parked right outside was handy. There was an AC, small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. When the coffee pot stopped brewing, they had replaced it by the time we got back that day. The front desk had called on our way in to say the room was ready, and the cheerful woman checked us in quickly and answered questions about the area. It’s a short way from downtown Ashland, and the price is hard to beat. We stayed a few nights over eclipse weekend. It isn’t a five-star hotel, but it exceeded our expectations for the low price. Thank you, Manor Hotel!

Dog friendly, which matters a lot when we travel. The room was spotless and welcoming, and we slept comfortably. It’s tucked away from busy downtown Ashland but close enough to enjoy the attractions. The value was great, from the friendly front desk to the comfortable night’s sleep. A peaceful little oasis, and a great choice for a night or weekend trip.

The manager really went out of her way to help our family of five. We had two rooms, including one with a kitchenette where we could heat dinner and make breakfast, and they also provided a cot. The Manor Motel worked perfectly for an overnight stay, and we’d come back.

The people running this place were very kind when we had trouble with the power outlets in our room. They were accommodating about the inconvenience and gave great customer service. Our room was clean and cozy, and I especially liked that one of the beds was in its own bedroom.
