OYO Hotel Beeville -US 181

We've stayed here for four years and never had trouble before. The same sweet couple used to run the desk, and we'd been here so often they invited us to a party one weekend. I wish I could remember their names. On this visit and the last one, different people were at the front desk. They were rude and unprofessional, and communication was unclear. We left our bags in the room and went out, then came back to no towels. We bring our own soap and things, so that wasn't the issue, but seriously, no towels? The sink wouldn't drain, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the TV mostly had audio with little or no picture. I don't know if management changed, but we don't plan to come back.

My project was postponed, so I checked out the same night I arrived and returned the key. I understood they wouldn't refund the night I had already checked in for, but I had paid for two nights and they also refused to return the second night's payment. It felt unfair.

I work nights, and unlike other motels, this place let me check in early. The staff were helpful, understanding, polite, and professional every time. I stayed four weekends in a row for work, and the rooms were clean and cool. I was happy with the experience and the service was excellent throughout.

My family stays at Oyo whenever we get the chance. It's clean and pleasant, with friendly people and quiet rooms, plus WiFi. My daughter visited from Albuquerque and enjoyed her stay too.
