Super 8 By Wyndham Atchison Ks

The staff were friendly, and the location is nice and affordable. The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just cereal and bread, though. The milk and orange juice sat out unrefrigerated for over five or six hours, and I'm sure it was reused the next day, which is a major health concern. The rooms looked clean at first, but the tub had hair in it, and the shower didn't work properly, with water spilling from the spout. There was damage and poor repair work throughout. Bugs crawled in and out through a badly sealed window. No bed bugs, but lots of beetles and ladybugs.

The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable, but the bathtub fixtures were loose and pulling out of the wall, and the tub hadn't been cleaned well. The TV had no reception, and nobody came to help after we reported it. It felt like an aging hotel the owners were trying to keep earning money from without maintaining it.

The sheets were dirty, bed bugs were present, and the room smelled bad. The TV and air conditioning didn't work, and the safety chain was broken. It wasn't a pleasant stay, and I don't recommend this motel.

The rates are reasonable, the location is convenient, and the beds are comfortable. It's clean, the shower works well, and the towels are soft and fluffy. The housekeepers do a good job without getting in your way, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. I stay here quite often. What more do you need?
