We'd come to visit our student and arrived late Saturday afternoon. The room was nice, but after leaving Sunday morning to explore West Virginia, we got back 12 hours later to find a note under the door saying we had to move to another building because of a water issue. I understand things can be out of anyone's control, but after a long day we had to pack everything and move at 10 p.m. No discount, no apology, not even a drink voucher. Very disappointing and totally unacceptable. Management, do better.

The beds were comfortable and Cutler's restaurant was good, but for the money I expected better service. I was taken aback by the suggested tips of 22, 25, or 27 percent. They explained that the cost of living had gone up, and I figure the usual 15-20 percent has gone up along with it. I misplaced my jacket and called the hotel, but they told me to email them. I did, four times, and never got a reply.

The shower was disappointing, with weak water pressure even on the first floor and a temperature that was hard to get right. Otherwise, it was a pleasant hotel within walking distance of the University campus, and the staff were friendly.

It's quick and easy to get here, and the campus is nearby. I'm teaching clinicals this semester, so it's also just a few minutes from the hospital and MH facility. You're there in no time.

We've held workshops here for business several times, and they always deliver. When we had a last-minute change last year, they accommodated us without any trouble. We held another workshop earlier this month, and the service was great. Our room host, Cole, was spectacular.
