I should have said something when I first noticed the dirty floor. I arrived two nights ago and was away from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., so I didn't bring in all that dust and hair. Eventually I couldn't take it and used my own Swiffer, which I had with me because I'm moving. While cleaning, I found trash from the previous guest under the bed. I'd leave, but the booking is nonrefundable.

The owner was responsive and cooperative, and the place was great for the price. We booked through booking.com because it had the best price at the time. I stayed two days and would happily come back. The room was spotless, with a quality double bed, TV, and comfortable recliner sofa. Towels were provided, which I hadn't expected. The shared kitchen was modern, clean, and had a gas stove and other appliances. The living room looked nice, and we had a private bathroom with a lock. Street parking was plentiful, and it was conveniently close to Jersey City and NYC. The only small snag was working out the main door lock at first. Once we got inside, everything was a 10/10. For the price, this place is pure ❤️.

I booked this Airbnb after seeing 91university Ave in Irvington online, but when I arrived, he sent me to 101 bagarw Ave Newark instead. Getting inside was a problem because the key wouldn't open the front door into the living area. They make it clear during booking that there's no refund, so I couldn't get my money back. This feels like a scam. Never again. You're better off going to a hotel or motel. Don't waste your time here, they'll take your money.
