Omni Hotel At The Battery Atlanta

The view over Truist Park and The Battery was incredible, with the baseball field, Braves sign, greenery, and Ring statue all in sight. Our room was clean and cozy, and staff brought up anything we asked for. The heated pool and fire pit made for a fun, relaxing cold-day visit. Valet was actually cheaper than the garage, which was a nice bonus. Housekeeping hadn’t cleaned our room when we returned, but the front desk dealt with that quickly. We had an amazing stay at the Omni Hotel at The Battery and would come back for that view.

The view from our room was beautiful, and the front desk team made us feel welcome when we arrived. Still, for what we paid, I expected a luxury-level room, and several things fell short. The bed was so uncomfortable that my husband slept in the chair because of back discomfort. The bathroom tissue was thin and rough, too. We couldn’t connect to the TV because it wasn’t a smart TV, and the thermostat didn’t seem to work. Even set to 71 degrees, the room stayed uncomfortably warm all night. As a Georgia native who has stayed at many hotels around Atlanta, I’ve had staycations with better comfort and value. I appreciate the view and the staff’s kindness, but the experience didn’t match the rate, so I don’t expect to return.

The food and drinks were really good, and room service came quickly. I stayed two nights on a business trip and got top-tier service. There are lots of places nearby, too. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

I’m working my way through all 30 MLB stadiums, and Truist is #22. The Omni team made me feel like family and really got behind the trip. They’d noted my request for a ballpark view before I arrived, and were enthusiastic about what I was doing. The location is great, but that personal touch and the “Grand Slam” service are what make this a must-stay for baseball fans. They helped me celebrate a huge milestone.
