Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel

Kamol (Bday twin) made a GREAT whiskey sour, hands down one of the best I’ve had. The buffet-style breakfast had plenty of choices and was reasonably priced, too. Annette at the front desk was professional and kind when I arrived, and Host Kiana brought such good energy and hospitality. The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were all on point. AMAZING stay, I’ll definitely be back!

Our 9 year old loves planes, so this hotel overlooking the Atlanta airport runway made a perfect staycation surprise. He spent most of his time on the balcony with his camera, spotting planes. Just before bedtime, staff brought out a hot cake with ice cream for the birthday boy. He’ll never forget it, and neither will we. The staff were great, and overall we had a great stay. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, which was odd, and the toilet flush was weak, so we had to flush twice each time.

You can’t walk from the airport to this hotel, and the bus takes 20 minutes to arrive, so getting there is inconvenient. The upside is that it’s close to the airport. The downside is the noise: with the airport running all night, planes were landing at 11pm and revving up at 2am. The rooms have single-pane windows, and it gets extremely loud. Only stay if you don’t need sleep and want to watch planes all night.

I missed a connection at Atlanta airport and needed somewhere at the last minute. The free shuttle from the domestic terminal was useful, and after a late, tiring day I appreciated the quick, friendly check-in. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were lovely, and it was quiet. In the morning there was free coffee in the lobby, plus a hot shower. It made missing my flight a little less painful.
