Clarion Pointe - Greensboro Coliseum Area

We were there for our honeymoon, and the rooms were super clean with daily room service. The front desk team was so sweet and gave us the best service. We’ll definitely be back.

The breakfast is delicious, and there are lots of restaurants and entertainment places just up the road. I’ve only stayed one night so far, with three more to go, so I’ll have more to say after that. Clarion Pointe is a very nice place to stay.

We had to move rooms because the sink was clogged when we arrived and the floors needed sweeping. The second room had food and drinks left in the refrigerator, stains that needed cleaning, and a tub that leaked a little. The bathrooms are really small, though the lobby is very nice and the staff are mostly pleasant. The beds are comfortable, but not big enough for two people, I suppose they’re double beds. The hotel was pretty good, but could use more grooming.

The beds were comfortable and clean, and the employees were polite and as helpful as they could be. We checked the bed carefully and didn’t find bed bugs. The rest of the room was dingy and smelled, though, and I wasn’t willing to walk around barefoot. The online photos are misleading. This is a motel, not a hotel. The walkways angle down so much that it feels like you could fall off. The tub had no drain plug, but that barely mattered because it took about an hour to drain after a bath.
