Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Downtown

Ms.Freydi was professional and courteous when we overslept after our Valentine’s Day stay on February 14th. She could have charged us for checking out late, but didn’t penalize us after I explained that my fiance and I had simply overslept after our night together. We had a great night, and the hotel was perfect for us. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The building is historic, which I enjoyed, and from my 19th-floor room I had a great view of the city. The location was convenient and walkable. William at the front desk and Shelly from housekeeping both gave great service. There was a smell near the kitchen, maybe from the garbage disposal or dishwasher. The laundry is open 24 hours, but the machines only take quarters, and there’s no change at the front desk or change machine on site. Aside from those issues, it was a pretty decent stay.

We had a beautiful view from our room, and the location was good, close to the aquarium and everything. The area isn’t very nice at night, though. Breakfast was amazing, and the kitchen staff were very nice. We stayed three nights and had a really good experience with all the staff, especially Melbra Bell and Louis, who made it as good as possible. Even with the nighttime downside, we had a really good stay. Thank you, Melbra and Louis. Hope to see you soon!

The rooms and amenities were great, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Rufus and Max on the valet team stood out. They were helpful and efficient every time, whether they were bringing our car around quickly, helping load the dogs and bags, or suggesting nearby restaurants. My husband was in town for a conference, and our dogs came along for the three-night stay. We were very impressed and will be back.
