SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center

The room needs some TLC, and the shower water was only lukewarm. I contacted the front desk about it, but nobody came to fix it. At first, the front desk staff greeted me with great energy and a welcoming spirit. The problem came when I needed leadership help with a simple issue. The Front Desk Supervisor was dismissive and unprofessional, responding with a lot of attitude and little support or understanding. I wish the supervisor would take a cue from the other front desk agents. I strongly urge the GM and senior leadership to look into this and correct it before it gets worse.

Pomfila made me feel expected, greeting me by name as if we’d known each other, and I want to give her a toast. I hope the company recognizes what she does. I’m sure she makes others feel like neighbors and friends too. She didn’t act like an old college best friend or high school sweetheart, just made me feel that I mattered and that my choice to stay at SpringHill Suites Atlanta Perimeter Center mattered too. Five stars to Pomfila and to SpringHill Suites Atlanta Perimeter Center for helping me get ready for one of the greatest opportunities of my life in South Carolina. I arrived late, before traveling to South Carolina the next morning, and Pomfila welcomed me with enthusiasm, a smile, and a warm sense of humor. She’d noticed I hadn’t checked in at the regular time and wanted to make sure I could get a good night’s rest without a rushed morning. My room was already ready. It was clean, comfortable, wonderful, and set to a manageable temperature as the weather changes. Comfort, sleep, and a good breakfast were just what I needed. :)))

The elevator problems are the main concern. One broke down during our stay, and we had to take the stairs. Thankfully that wasn’t the day we arrived with our luggage. One elevator is completely out of order and the other keeps breaking. I heard other guests were frustrated too. I can manage the stairs, but older guests might struggle. The hotel owners should address this. There’s also noise to consider. Rooms on one side face a busy highway, and those on the other face Costco. Trucks unloading started at 5 a.m.; I could hear them through the window AC even with the windows shut. I get up early, so it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers may find it disruptive. The room was very clean except for the sofa, which needs a good cleaning. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were nice, and we had everything we needed, including an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Breakfast was good, with omelets, sausage and bacon, rolls, muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. I was satisfied and would consider staying again if I’m back in Atlanta.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and smell great. The beds are very firm, and I slept well. If you want a good night’s sleep, this is the place.
