The Candler Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton - 5 Nights, Atlanta, USA

There’s a grand, old-school elegance here, and the public spaces show a lot of attention to detail. Everyone we met, from the doorman to registration and housekeeping, was all smiles. Our room had fine linens and clean, simple lines, with a huge bathroom and soft towels. Great food is within walking distance downtown, though I didn’t try the restaurant on site. Keep in mind the charges: valet is $55/night, there’s a historical fee, and internet costs $12/day.

Natalia made arrival especially memorable. She checked me in, helped with my bags, and was so welcoming. The whole check-in was smooth, and the rest of the staff made a great first impression too. The hotel is bright, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. My room was spotless and well cared for. It’s also very walkable, close to everything, and easy for getting around the city. I had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.

Jermaine greeted us as soon as we arrived and made my wife and me feel at home on our wedding night. Dwight at the front desk was just as memorable, with real professionalism and warmth. Everyone we met was great, but those two stood out. The downtown setting, excellent food, and lovely atmosphere all felt luxurious, and the service made the stay unforgettable.

I’m from Southern California, and this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was unsure after reading recent reviews, but we had no problems at all. The room was spectacular, with a phenomenal view, and the beds were so comfortable we melted into them. Everything was very clean, with no smells, stains, or bugs. I didn’t end up with dirty socks from walking around, and the towels were fresh and soft, not stiff and starchy like in many places. The table wobbled a little, but it didn’t affect using it. They left complimentary water and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. The front desk was friendly, they offered to carry our bags, and valet was quick. I’m so happy and grateful this hotel exists. It and the place we ate really made my Atlanta visit, and I need to come back. We paid a little over $200 for the room and $55 for overnight valet. The refundable deposit hold was supposed to go back to my card, but it was used for valet instead, so there were no extra charges.
