There was also a $20 parking fee. We only booked this hotel at the last minute because another place cancelled and we needed somewhere for a concert. The staff were kind, but the room was so rundown that we decided to leave right after the show and take the loss. There was old urine in the toilet, no shower curtain, just one towel, broken light switches, cigarette burns in the blankets, and stains on the walls and bedframes. When we came back at night to pack, our keys wouldn't open the door. The staff member couldn't get them working and offered to move us, but we told him we were leaving.

We booked at the last minute because it was cheap and there was a room available. Never again. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and felt like nobody had cleaned it in a while, with mold everywhere. I had to pay to park in the tiny lot and worried someone might break into my car, since it was the nicest one there that night. One ground-floor window had a note saying not to knock because the person being sought wasn't there. It felt sketchy, so we slept and checked out as soon as we got up.

I won't come back. The shower pressure was awful, and the water swung between scalding and freezing. My sheets had burn holes, the bathroom door had a huge crack, the TV remote didn't work, and the smoke detector had no batteries. Parking turned into a mess too: after telling me my spot was fine, the hotel called around 11:30 pm saying someone else had been assigned it. I was already out for the night and couldn't move the car, and we ended up paying $40. They'd called before I even arrived to ask for my ETA. A vacation should be relaxing, but this stay was stressful from start to finish.

There wasn't much to like about the location, even if it's convenient, because other places nearby cost about the same, especially off season. Our room had no bulbs in any fixtures, no towels, a strong cigarette smell despite being marked non-smoking, and graffiti inside. We left right away and asked for a refund. They only offered to change the date, which we didn't want, so we're not returning. Easily the worst motel I've experienced. Stay somewhere else.
