The room smelled, the floors were dirty, and the pillows were thinner than notebook paper. There was hair on the pillowcases and dust bunnies on the bathroom towels. The headboard wasn't even attached to the bed, and the nightstand swayed about three inches when I opened the door. The light looked like a leftover from hurricane Katrina, and the mirror looked as if Helen Keller had tried to clean it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even a homeless person who'd be better off on a bench with a newspaper. This place blows.

The room was clean and had the mini fridge and microwave we needed, plus complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. It did smell a little like smoke, and the front window was being repaired so we couldn't open it, but the AC worked great. When the TV quit working, the owner brought us a replacement. It's a motel, but the price is affordable enough to leave extra money for time in AC.

The toilet paper was awful, it fell apart when I used it, and I think that matters a lot. The price was another issue: I was quoted a lower rate and had already reserved at that price, but they charged me ten dollars more. I felt a little taken advantage of. It seemed like they expected guests to pay the higher amount because refusing wouldn't undo the reservation made with a credit or debit card. Aside from that, I liked staying here.

I'm writing this from my car outside because I won't stay here. The room had flies, stained rugs, holes punched in the doors, and a bathtub that had been ripped apart. It smelled like weed, the AC hadn't been turned on since the previous guest, and an outlet looked like it had suffered a small fire. I wouldn't recommend it. Zero stars if I could.
