The staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was easy, and the hotel felt well maintained. It’s clean, modern, and quiet, with spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen that made a longer stay comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and shops and restaurants were conveniently close. I’d definitely stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Auburn, Maine again.

We were trying to sort out a deposit at checkout. I could have sworn we’d paid it, but the morning shift front desk guy had just arrived and said he knew nothing about it. He told us we could call his manager to find out, then rudely told us to leave even though we were being polite and trying to clear things up. We won’t be back.

The double suites worked great for our group of four or five kids, with an oven and microwaves. Staff were so nice, and the fire pit outside was a cozy place to relax. It’s a very nice hotel.

Breakfast was very good, and the real plates and bowls were a nice touch. The room was spacious, and the overall experience was excellent. The one downside was the overly powerful AC, which made the temperature swing too much.

Everyone we met greeted us and made us feel welcome. The staff really know how to serve with a smile, and breakfast was phenomenal, with a different delicious dish each day. It felt like money well spent, and this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.
