The only reason we stayed past the first night was that we arrived very late with two exhausted kids. We would've left right away otherwise. The room wasn't clean and had stains everywhere, the keys barely worked, and there were rat traps all over with roaches at least outside. The pull-out bed was disgusting, and I wouldn't cook in that kitchenette. The sheets at least seemed clean, and the suites were larger than usual, with two queen beds and two bathrooms. Breakfast was okay: two waffle makers, eggs, sausage, hash browns, and the usual continental options. The coffee wasn't great, but better than I expected for a free meal. The main building looks somewhat newer, though that doesn't mean much. We'd been booked here sight unseen by someone who meant well. One upside is that they charge by the day. If you booked online, don't cancel through the booking service, since it may charge a cancellation fee. Just check out at the front desk, as we did after the first night.

The front desk experience was awful, and my family didn't feel comfortable in this hotel. There were stains across the carpet and on the bedsheets, plus hair in both the sink and bathtub on our first day. Housekeeping didn't bring toilet paper or towels, even though there were four of us. We could smell weed outside our door, which disgusted me. I couldn't sleep well because I kept worrying there might be bedbugs. We were paying for service we never received.

The staff at the desk were pleasant, but seemed out of their depth. Our reservation got messed up several times, and we had trouble getting information about the hotel. The beds and linens were clean, though scratchy. The room felt dated, with dingy carpet, heavily stained furniture, and worn-looking doors and knobs. Breakfast was passable. For what I paid, I probably wouldn't come back unless the rooms were fully renovated.

The breakfast had lots of choices, and the fitness room was better than most hotel gyms. I didn't use the pool, though it looked good. The hotel is a large complex of several buildings and seemed well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and laid out nicely. The neighborhood felt a little run down, with some homeless people around, but I'd stay here again if I were back in the area.
