We rented a suite for Valentine's Day, and the kids had a great time at the indoor pool after we invited the grandkids to join us. The room was very clean, with a full kitchen, a pullout couch, and a king size bed. Breakfast was set up nicely, the service was friendly, and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely come back.

I always enjoy my stays at the Senator. The rooms are clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the employees are amazing. Some rooms are decent but severely overpriced, while others are huge or have amenities that make them a good value. I wish there were a points program or offers to earn a free night. If those are available, the staff haven't mentioned them. The pool and hot tub are a little hidden, but once you find them they're clean, and the hot tub is amazing.

The two female employees we encountered treated us with cold, judgmental looks from the moment we walked in. There was no greeting or respect, and it honestly felt racist, as if we didn't belong. I felt embarrassed and infuriated by the way we were looked down on. Hotels should make paying guests feel welcome and treat people with dignity. Management needs to train staff in basic respect and professionalism. I don't recommend this place and would tell people to avoid it.

We stayed here for our wedding in Winthrop, and the clean facility worked wonderfully for our friends and family. We made lots of fun memories here, including getting ready for our special day. Everyone was so friendly. My husband and I highly recommend the hotel and will be back.

We really liked the suite, the breakfast each morning, the Wednesday Manager’s reception, and how welcoming the staff were. The problem was the room facing Western Avenue. Trucks went by very early and woke us around 4-5 AM every day of our vacation. Ask for a room away from Western Avenue unless you’re fine being woken around 4:30. Aside from that noise, this was one of the nicest Homewood suites we’ve stayed at.
