La Quinta Inn Denver Aurora

The restaurant next door was the only good thing about this place. I booked a room from Friday to Monday because my mom was in the nearby hospital. Then I went to get food and couldn't get back into my room because the key was turning red. At the desk, they told me checkout was Sunday morning. Nobody had told me they'd cut my stay in half, and all my belongings were locked inside. I had to practically beg to get them back and was given just 10 minutes to clear everything out. While checking my duffle bag, I realized two unworn pairs of clothes were missing. I searched the whole room and couldn't find them. Whoever manages this place needs to watch the cameras. The breakfast was a joke, too. I was left with nowhere to go, and I'll never stay here again. Don't waste your money or come here.

Tasha at Quality Inn Aurora helped us book at the last minute and arranged an upgrade so we wouldn't have to use the stairs. She's the kindest customer service employee there and has given us one of our best experiences so far. Thanks for all your help, Tasha.

My room was fine and met the basic needs for the one night I stayed. The trouble came after checkout: I handed over my driver's license at check-in, and it wasn't returned. I should have checked before leaving, but I only realized later. I was visiting from out of state and already about five hours away from Colorado when I was told it had been found. They assured me it would be mailed and picked up the following Monday. Three weeks later, it still hadn't arrived. The whole thing has been frustrating and inconvenient.

I feel comfortable here and keep coming back. I know the area, and I'd rather stay here than down the street and pay for parking on top of my bill. Still, there are homeless people around using drugs, yelling, and walking near my vehicle, which makes me uncomfortable. I can't control that. Miss Tasha is professional and helpful every time I stay. She makes me feel welcome and makes sure my problems are taken care of, so she gets five stars from me. Other staff I've dealt with need more training. Thanks for all your hard work, Miss Tasha.
