Aiden Austin City Hotel

The person who greeted everyone with “morning” was the highlight for me. The hotel has a cool vibe in the South Congress area in the heights, and my room was comfortable, clean, and suited our needs. There's a pool, which looked nice, though the weather kept us from using it. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was just sufficient, not the best. I'd recommend it and come back.

The staff made this stay fantastic. Leslie arranged a terrific room and location, and Raul, the manager at the front desk, was equally wonderful. The two-bed rooms have doubles, not queens, which we hadn't realized, so sleeping as adults felt cramped, lol. Still, we plan to return next year. The hotel and its surroundings were beautiful, with plenty of photo ops. Home Slice pizza is close by and made for a great dinner. Breakfast was pretty good, with lactose-free milk and gluten-free options, and they wrapped things individually as well as they could. The pool area looked like a blast, but it was too cold to swim during our December visit. From one Best Western connoisseur, the Aiden version is on point.

Just outside downtown Austin, this cute little hotel is comfortable, friendly, and reasonably priced for being so close to the city. Breakfast had a good range of choices. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in Austin.
