Hyatt Centric Congress Ave Austin

Sergio was the standout for us. He made check-in easy, remembered us, and brought hot water for our tea each night, sometimes asking as we were heading upstairs. The room had a beautiful city view, and the front desk team was great throughout our three-night stay. We loved the friendly server at the 8th-floor bar. I only wish the room got colder at night, the 31st-floor bar stayed open later, and the hotel accepted cash so we could tip the staff. It was our first time in Texas, and we had a wonderful stay. We’d highly recommend it.

Brenden handled an issue that was outside the hotel staff’s control with impressive attention and follow-through. I’ve spent more than 30 years in sales and service, so I notice these things. He and the other staff, including Daisy and Rachel, clearly take pride in their work and care about guests. Their service was extraordinary.

The rooftop is one of my favorite spots in Austin, with a beautiful view of Downtown Austin, the Capitol, and the cathedral. It’s peaceful, especially at the end of the day. This was our second visit, and we liked it even more than the first. I came with my kids and parents, and the hotel felt warm and welcoming, almost like home. We stayed 12/12-12/14, and the staff were incredible. When we found our luggage lock was broken, the front desk brought bolt cutters to our room within five minutes. The next day, they already had our purse from the rooftop bar safely returned. It held all our IDs and cards, so getting it back saved the trip.
