TownePlace Suites Austin North/Tech Ridge

The room smelled fresh, had a spacious bedroom and a really comfortable bed, with what looked like brand-new kitchen appliances and lovely decor. I checked in and hurried to get ready to meet family I hadn't seen in almost five years. At the door, Sarah welcomed me with a huge smile, and there was a pitcher of ice-cold cucumber lemonade with two plates of warm cookies beside it. So good! Breakfast was another surprise. The menu changes, but that morning there was turkey bacon, cheesy melted eggs, Texas-shaped waffles, muffins, oatmeal, and fruit. The staff kept everything clean and looked after guests. There's also a 24/7 coffee bar outside cafe hours. This stay gave me wonderful memories for all the right reasons. Thank you!

The room was clean and comfortable, with a large day screen TV, a relaxing sofa, and great pillows. It had a full-size fridge and full stovetop and oven. The front desk staff were friendly and checked me in quickly. The tub's anti-slip coating was peeling, though it didn't bother me. I look forward to staying there again.

The full-size kitchen saves me money since I don't have to eat out for every meal, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The room is small but arranged so well it never feels cramped or claustrophobic. It was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was free and good, with a moderate selection of familiar hot items. The coffee tasted a little odd, not bad, just different from what I expect. Free WiFi was adequate. I'll absolutely stay here again when I'm in the area.

The suite met our needs, with plenty of room, comfortable beds, and a sufficient kitchenette. The amenities were what brought the experience down. There weren't enough towels, and they couldn't bring more. There were just two forks for a suite that sleeps six, only a couple of glasses, and no hair dryer, so ladies, bring your own. It was okay, but not something to brag about, and not the Marriott experience we're used to.
