It was quiet on Saturday, with nobody hanging around, and the room was clean with no bugs. I’d recommend it if you just need somewhere to sleep, but not for relaxing or a vacation. The room is dated, and the carpet was pulled away where the cable wires came out of the wall. There are almost no outlets, so only two things can be plugged in at once. To use the microwave, I had to unplug the TV or refrigerator. The microwave nearly exploded when I used it, so I left it unplugged.

My family and I will definitely stay at Ridgeway Inn in the future. It was very clean and tidy, and the service was exceptional. We didn’t stay in a room ourselves, but met someone who was staying there. We ate nearby and hung out for a while. I’d recommend it for families or business travel.

In room 202, the beds squeaked and were very uncomfortable, and the sheets had stains. The table had a broken leg, and one of the two chairs had a broken backrest. The refrigerator didn’t work because its cord was missing the plug end. Outside the window, old jeans were hanging from a tree, with broken beer bottles scattered on the ground below. The floorboards by the bathroom were rotting under the carpet, and felt like I could fall through to the first floor.

The walls were falling apart, the bathroom had no mirror, and there weren’t even any towels. I wouldn’t have showered anyway. The place felt completely nasty, with graffiti everywhere. The owners show no pride in the business and don’t seem to care about upkeep. If that kind of place suits you, you’ll love it.

It might be okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. Room 301 was gross: the bed hadn’t been made, used towels were left on the chair, and the floors were filthy. The TV cable cord was missing its screw connector. There were nasty clumps of hair in the drains, and I had to pull them out so the water would drain. So gross.
