The staff did something especially lovely after our son left his stuffed dinosaur in the room. They contacted us as soon as they found it, and since we were already two hours away, sent it to our next hotel. The package came with surprises, including a picture story about the dinosaur taking a little vacation without its owner. It made all of us, especially our son, laugh. The location was great for Acadia and Bar Harbor, and very close to a good food spot, Bar Harbor Lobster Pound. The pool was clean and cozy, and the room was clean and what we expected for the price.

The owner suggested a great lobster place a few blocks away, and the motel is on the shuttle route, so they’ll pick you up and drop you off. Our room was large, clean, and welcoming, with a nice TV and parking right next to it. The price was good too. What a nice place!

Kelly made a real difference when we had a unique situation. She went above and beyond with genuine care and kindness, and her hospitality made our trip. The rooms were cool, quiet, and spotless, with every detail clearly well maintained. This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we’ve stayed. High Seas Motel is about four minutes from the Acadia National Park entrance and ten minutes from Bar Harbor. “Motel” really undersells it. We were blown away by the value, comfort, and care in such a good location. For Acadia, I’d choose it over overpriced hotels. 10/10 recommend.

We spent two nights here recently during our Maine road trip in 2025. The room was large, quiet, clean, and nice, and check-in went smoothly. It’s a great location for Acadia, and having fresh coffee in the morning was a nice plus before heading out.

The property is well cared for, and the pool area is exceptional. The rooms are very clean, quiet, comfortable, and look new. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a future Acadia trip.
