Saltair Inn Waterfront B&B

The Acadia Suite was charming, with two fireplaces, a patio, and gorgeous water views from the living room. From the property, you can walk a short distance onto the beach and over to Bar Island at low tide, where we found shells and beautiful rocks. The Inn has stunning water views, a calming atmosphere, and a relaxing deck and grounds with Adirondack chairs. Our gracious hosts served homemade breakfasts and delicious afternoon baked snacks. The location is excellent, too. We parked once and walked to all the shops, tours, and restaurants.

We had such a great four-night honeymoon stay in June. Kristi and Matt were wonderful hosts and had lots of helpful suggestions for the hikes in Acadia and restaurants we were looking for. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, with things like eggs Benedict, pancakes, and fresh fruit. And the view from the back deck and yard is hard to beat. We highly recommend it and would love to come back someday.

The views, the company, and breakfast made our stay so memorable. Matt & Kristi are wonderful hosts. We absolutely loved it and will be back!

The morning view of Frenchman Bay, local coffee, and delicious breakfast made every day start so nicely. We could walk easily to all the restaurants, shops, and amenities in this lovely part of Bar Harbor, and Matt and Kristi had great tips for exploring Acadia. Saltair Inn was a comfortable home base for the park. We loved the generous, kind hosts, warm hospitality, and fantastic location. It was exactly the B&B experience we wanted. We'd happily recommend Saltair Inn and hope to return someday. Thanks for everything, Kristi and Matt!
