Fairfield Inn & Suites Bardstown

Breakfast was a real plus, with lots to choose from, including waffles and cage-free eggs. The main offerings changed each day, and they posted what would be served the next morning. My room was large, clean, and comfortable, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. I called ahead to let them know I’d arrive after midnight. The location worked well for my four-night visit. I’d stay at Fairfield Inn again and recommend it.

For our first trip to KY, this was a handy base for Mammoth Cave, Maker's Mark, Bardstown, and Woodford Reserve. We found several restaurants nearby, and parking felt safe. The room was quiet and clean, and everyone we encountered was helpful. We’d stay here again.

Our room had plenty of space and was very clean and comfortable. The hotel looks modern and updated, with some nice seasonal decorations. Breakfast changed during our stay, and the cook was warm and friendly. The other guests in the dining area were friendly too, so it had a nice feel. There were a couple of letdowns. The online listing said there was a kitchen, which mattered to us, but the hotel didn’t have one. It’s convenient for work, though restaurants and attractions aren’t really close enough to walk to. Check-in was uneven: a few employees seemed young and immature, while others were polite and professional.

The door decorations for my husband’s 50th birthday were such a thoughtful surprise. They made him feel celebrated and added a lot to our trip. The manager and staff went out of their way for us, and as a Marriott Bonvoy member who’s stayed at many properties, I can say this one stands out. We came to Bardstown for the bourbon trail, and the hotel made a great home base. It was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
