Baymont by Wyndham Corbin

The location worked well, just off the highway with a gas station nearby, and the price was good. The room smelled clean, the bed was great, and both the pool and hot tub were properly heated. We even had about 40 minutes alone in them, which was relaxing. Around midnight, the woman at the front desk was kind enough to make fresh coffee without me asking.

The rooms were clean, the sheets were clean, and nothing smelled bad, so the hotel itself isn't bad. But the laundry setup feels stuck in the Stone Age. I needed to wash all my clothes since I'm always on the road, and the machines only take coins, not cards. Seriously, it's the 21st century. They might as well have put in a wooden tub and let me wash everything by hand.

The price is very reasonable, and there are restaurants, gas stations, and other useful places close by. Everyone at the hotel was warm and welcoming, and they clearly know how to treat guests. I also love how they decorate the outside during harvest time. Breakfast could use a little more fresh fruit, plus another bread choice or two, like bagels or muffins.

The location and amenities worked well, and the rooms were clean, though a bit dated. The noise from the interstate was pretty noticeable, so if I stay again, I'll ask for a room on the other side. Still, it wasn't a bad place to stay.
