Cloverleaf Suites Baton Rouge

I stayed here between events over graduation weekend. After checkout, I realized I'd forgotten in the bedside drawer some cards containing money that people had given me. I called to ask whether anyone had turned them in and was told no. I went back to check, and the room was spotless. Later the manager called and said the housekeeper hadn't seen anything. My concern is that they were just taking her word for it. I said I was sure the cards had been there, but got silence and no offer to help. The facility is nice, but I don't trust the staff.

There was plenty of natural light in my clean, spacious room, which felt like home. The kitchen was fully equipped with a microwave, full stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. In the living area, there's a big-screen TV, a comfortable couch that folds out into another bed, and a chair. The bedroom bed was wonderfully comfortable, and it has a TV too. There's a vanity with a stool before the spacious bathroom, which has a tub and shower. The staff were polite, sweet, friendly, easy to talk to, and very helpful. For all that, the price was unbelievably reasonable and seemed affordable for any budget. One of the best hotel stays I've had.

Getting around the complex can be a challenge because parking is difficult, and the infrastructure needs work. The place is showing its age. Still, staff are friendly and make a real effort with hospitality. The rooms are spacious, as you'd expect from a former executive and extended-stay complex, and there are good food and shopping options nearby. I can't comment on breakfast or the manager's reception since my work hours are too early and late for either.

The suites were nice, with a full kitchen, sitting room, and separate bedroom. Even with the hotel fully booked for graduation and people partying, things got quiet after 11 pm, respect! The downside was how badly rainwater collected. Better drainage is needed. I really enjoyed our stay.
