SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Baton Rouge

The bed leaned because one wheel was broken, and someone had propped it up with a brick. Sheets and pillows were dirty, and there were roaches in the room. I also found mold on the shower curtain and in the AC, and the lobby stank. I highly recommend NOT STAYING!!!

We got ready there, went to a concert, then came back and found the place so bad that we left. The hotel was nasty, with what looked like blood stains on the wall and a strong weed smell. There was no phone in the room and no locks on the door, and the beds were nasty. The room hadn't been cleaned at all. The pool was brown, so don't expect to swim. From the window, I watched what looked like drug deals going on. The whole hotel was very hot. DO NOT STAY HERE AND GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!! “ROYAL” DOES NOT MEAN ROYAL!!!

After I showed the hotel attendant how filthy the rooms were, he literally said, “every room is like this one.” I caught a contact entering the place because a guy was outside the entrance smoking weed. The room I was shown next looked like a haunted room, with broken lamp shades, torn curtains, and dry blood on the sheets. In the first room, the toilet had feces and piss on it, there were stains on the bedding, and the furniture had dirt, dust, and fingerprints. I posted pictures. The rooms weren't even clean.

We didn't stay. There were several people doing suspicious things outside the front doors as we approached. When the clerk came to the desk, he first asked for an extra fee for our service animal. Penn Hills asking for proof and documentation that the animal was a service animal. He wouldn't tell us his actual name at any point.
