Michael and Nicole made us feel at home, with tasty breakfasts and lots of suggestions for things to do nearby. We spent four nights at the Cottages and would happily recommend it to other Baton Rouge visitors. Our Junior suite was roomy and comfortable. The Cottages is a special home that's nearly 200 years old, in the historic Spanishtown area, and Michael and Nicole have furnished and decorated it thoughtfully.

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and the home-cooked breakfast each morning was better than anything I could get at a restaurant in town. Michael and Nicolle were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. When I'm in Baton Rouge again, this will be my first choice.

We were there for Bluesfest over the weekend, but our room stayed quiet and away from traffic. The hosts treated us like gold, and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Breakfast was delicious, especially those fluffy biscuits, and the snacks helped tide us over until dinner. The cottages can accommodate dietary preferences, even on short notice. They're in the historic, clean, kitschy Spanish district of downtown Baton Rouge, a short walk from the old Capitol Hill building and the waterfront levee trail system. The trail can take you to places like LSU, the Belle casino, Shaw center, and WW2 museum. Thanks again Mn'N 🇨🇦🫀🇺🇸

The hosts know the area's culture, history, and services, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was a home-cooked meal served at the time we chose between 7 and 9 a.m. This is a proper bed and breakfast, and we'd gladly stay again if we're in the area.
