WoodSpring Suites Baton Rouge East I-12

The refrigerator was the only clean thing in our room. The whole place smelled terrible the entire time, and the sheets were stained. The bed was basic, with such thin pillows that I woke up with a stiff neck every morning. Dusty blinds, a cabinet with no door, and a “dresser” missing a drawer added to the mess. There were a few German cockroaches in the room, and the bathroom door handle fell off. Even when it was attached, there was a very large hole. So many things were held together with glue, as shown in the pictures. This was our first stay at a Woodspring Suite, and after this experience we’ll never book at a Woodspring again. We only stayed because everywhere else was booked for LSU’s homecoming. Please see the attached pictures.

The room had an odor, the floors were wet, and the toilet was loose. Water was leaking from the tub or toilet, and there was no smoke detector. Getting checked in was already awful: no one was at the front desk when we arrived. A sign said that for late check-in issues we should call 500 on the phone in the hallway. Two other people were also waiting to check in, and we kept calling without getting service, so we had to contact the company’s customer service. Eventually the front desk person came out and spoke to us through a closed gate to get our card. It was the worst day ever, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I always felt safe here, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. They regularly check that everything in your room is working and fix problems promptly. When I first transferred my job here from another state, everyone was kind and helped me get familiar with the area. It’s also close to gas stations, Walmart, and plenty of other businesses. Whether you need somewhere to rest or stay a little longer, this place works well. I’ll always remember Ms. Tracy’s kindness and prayers. She’s awesome.

The staff have been respectful and helpful, and the customer service is awesome. The front desk has been especially amazing with me. Shout out to autumn and ray for being so great and kind, thank you guys! The rooms are comfortable, and the pricing fits my budget. Great place to stay.
