Economy Inn

The rooms reek of tobacco, and the owners were rude. They kept knocking on my door at all hours and charged $50 for my ADA-certified service dog. The owner claimed he was a cop and could set whatever service-dog fee he wanted, which is false. He also said his brother was with the CIA and could investigate my personal life. He told me I could leave but would keep my $175 for what he called a dump. I’ve contacted the ADA, and he’s been reported for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

The room was okay for sleeping and bathing, but that was about it. Customer service was trash, and someone tried to charge my card twice after I checked in. Outside, the place looks like a run-down trap house. Not ideal.

Jack, the Manager, treated me with Southern hospitality, gave me bottles of water, a discount, and a late checkout at 11 AM. He said all the rooms had recently been renovated. Mine was clean, nice, spacious, and everything worked. This quiet location sits back from the road, and the price is fair given how expensive other hotels in the area are. I’d like to make it my new motel for work and look forward to staying again. Go by and see Jack, and check out my pictures. There’s a $5 deposit for the room key, returned at checkout, as many hotels and motels across the nation require these days. The one downside is the regular checkout time is 10 AM.

The owners were very nice and accommodating, and I’ll definitely stay with them again. The remodeled room was nice, clean, and close to everything you might need. It’s tucked off the road, behind Red Fish Pizza Restaurant. Thanks for all the hospitality.
