Our apartment was beautiful and right on the beach, with shops and restaurants close by. It was also perfectly placed for our Rockville trip, only 15 minutes from the Daytona Speedway. Nothing to fault.

This was the scariest and worst experience I’ve had. People came into our room unannounced three times. My five-year-old was undressed during one of those times, and she was afraid to eat alone in the kitchen area. One unexpected visitor was there for a building inspection, but he only walked through our rooms, as if he were looking for someone. In the middle of our vacation, the owner also told us we couldn’t sit outside because they had to paint the building. The parking garage was awful, and we were made to use a tight space that could have damaged the car. Security would sit by the pool when the few Black people were there, but not when only white people were around. As a Black mom, I didn’t feel safe here.

My girls and I had the best time, and Avis, one of the security guards, made the trip memorable. We loved getting back from dinner and saying hello to her. She took good care of us, made everything more fun, and gave us great recommendations. We’ll always love Avis for that!

Awesome condo, and amazing sunsets too. It’s the only place with four bedrooms and no bunk beds. We love it here!
