Comfort Inn & Suites Las Vegas - Nellis

The staff were kind and attentive in so many ways, helping me feel safe and giving me a place to begin the difficult process of recovery after I was placed here following an incident involving domestic violence. The suites are large, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is amazing and served at 6:30 each day. I highly recommend this property.

We left early after finding bites on our bodies on the second day. They looked like they might be bedbug bites. We told the staff, but the hotel was full, and they said an exterminator checked and found nothing. To their credit, staff were considerate and refunded the last night we missed. I hope nobody else has the same experience. I know this is a busy, transient city, but that doesn’t make it acceptable. The photo shows a bug we found in someone’s hair. We were in town for a baseball tournament. The room was dusty and the carpet quite soiled. The hot tub wasn’t working, and the pool was freezing, though the team didn’t mind.

We arrived late Saturday, and the loud AC units made it hard to fall asleep. They don’t shut off automatically, so it felt like choosing between the noise and a hot room. Then on Sunday at 6 a.m., they pressure-washed the pool right outside our window for over an hour. The front desk said there was nothing they could do because that was when the worker had been scheduled. In my opinion, sleeping is the whole point of a hotel, so this stay was a complete waste.

Carmen had the room spotless before we arrived. Thanks for the cleaning, and have a blessed day.
